Privacy Policy
Draft policy — owner and qualified privacy review required before launch. Last updated October 7, 2026.
What we collect and why
Ontario Road Test Assist collects your test preferences, first name, email, optional phone, and current booking details to assist with your requested appointment. Your driver’s licence number and expiry date are used only as necessary for booking assistance. We record your authorization and agreed booking criteria.
Protecting your information
Licence details are encrypted at rest, masked in routine operations views, and revealed only to authorized personnel for operational use. Explicit access is audited. We do not send your identity, licence details, booking confirmation references, or notes to analytics, session replay, or advertising pixels.
Service providers and disclosure
Approved hosting, database, and identity providers process data needed to operate this service. Authorized operators may use required details in the official booking system under your authorization. The owner must finalize provider identities, processing locations, cross-border disclosures, and privacy contact information before launch. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and deletion
The configured operational retention period is 90 days after a request becomes terminal. A scheduled deletion process removes request and sensitive operational records. Audit records retain only non-sensitive operational events. Backup expiry and any legally required accounting retention must be finalized before launch.
Access, correction and consent
Contact us to request access, correction, withdrawal of authorization, or deletion. Criteria changes require a new agreed snapshot. Withdrawing authorization stops future assistance; a fee already due from a matching confirmed booking remains subject to the agreed terms.
Analytics
By default, privacy-safe event hooks stay within the browser and no external analytics provider is enabled. Any later provider requires consent and privacy review appropriate to its configuration.
